Funam­bules Médias offers video train­ing tai­lored to the needs of each par­tic­i­pant. Three options are avail­able to young participants:

1. A for­mu­la that con­sists in allow­ing young peo­ple to make the film from A to Z with the help of one of our trainers.
2. For­mu­la that aims to explain to young peo­ple how to make a film with­out assum­ing the respon­si­bil­i­ty of the project. The coach will write the project, look for financ­ing, take care of the tech­ni­cal aspects, and will be in charge of the final product.
3. A hybrid for­mu­la where the per­son in charge adapts to the par­tic­i­pants as the project unfolds. The goal is for the par­tic­i­pant to take charge of the tech­ni­cal aspects but the coach takes over if he/she does not feel com­fort­able with the exercise.

This pro­gram is aimed at young peo­ple between 16 and 24 years of age, who are just start­ing out or who come from neigh­bor­hoods that are on the periph­ery of the cul­tur­al offer. We intro­duce them to doc­u­men­tary film cul­ture and invite them to dis­cov­er lit­tle-known cin­e­mas near their neigh­bor­hoods. Young peo­ple can thus decon­struct doc­u­men­tary art, and to reflect and speak out on social issues that affect our soci­ety. It is also an oppor­tu­ni­ty to dis­cov­er lit­tle-known cin­e­mas in these neighbourhoods.

Draw­ing on their exten­sive expe­ri­ence in video pro­duc­tion around the world, Funam­bules Médias mem­bers offer pre-depar­ture train­ing cours­es for vol­un­teers wish­ing to make videos abroad.These train­ing ses­sions, which are very use­ful for doc­u­ment­ing your coop­er­a­tion trips, will pro­vide you with essen­tial tools for col­lect­ing tes­ti­mo­ni­als, famil­iar­iz­ing you with the var­i­ous real­i­ties and prob­lems expe­ri­enced in the field, and shar­ing your achieve­ments with as many peo­ple as possible.
